Carnevale on Whitcross Street has a relaxed, back room feel about it with great food and friendly service. The food is not over priced at around £12 for a main with the fig kebabs a particular highlight. Whitcross Street also hosts a popular market in the week from 11-3pm.

This is great place for a quick bite before the cinema/theratre or lunch on the run. Delicous freshly made hummus with a vatiety of toppings (such as fava beans, greek salad and guacomole) served with warm wholemeal pitta bread. Their drinks are good too – aleo vera juice sweetened with honey and grape, spiced apple juice and fresh mint tea.
