Blankets and throws from SCP

Jacob Chevron Stripe Blanket

SCP is one of my favourite design shops.  Here are a selection of blankets and throws from two mills in the UK - one in the Scottish Highlands and the other in Wales.

The two Bora Da throws below are designed by Donna Wilson exclusively for SCP. The Bora Da fabric is made from British wool that is specially spun and dyed in England and then woven in Wales by a traditional mill that has been in the same family for over a century. This new fabric is available as cushions and throws, in five different colourways. The two below are called Forest and Willow, you can see more here. There are also lots of other designs by Donna Wilson at SCP including Fair-isle rugs  and Henry Pouffes!

The blanket at the top of this post and the two below are designed and produced by Green Grove Weavers. Their mill is based in Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands and these blankets are made from natural un-dyed British wools taken from the fleece of the Jacob sheep. Have a look at the SCP website for more from their collection including a Prince of Wales blanket.
